Victoria McClean and Ryleigh Bolyard both earned Player of the Year for their respective high school divisions. McClain, who plays for the Middletown Knights, was a dominant pitcher who went 10-3 with a 2.12 ERA and 104 strikeouts in 85 2-3 innings pitched. In the Class 2A West regional championship game, she fired a one-hit shutout to lead the Knights to an 8-0 win over Oakdale. She also ranked high on the Frederick County hitting leaders list, batting a team-high .474 with six doubles. Bolyard, playing shortstop for the Fairfield Lady Knights, earned the title for her second year in a row, batting .586 with a .655 on-base percentage with four home runs, 15 doubles and 37 RBI for a Fairfield team that went 15-5.
Paige Wilhelm and Lindsey Windsor made 1st team all stars for Frederick County. Kassidy Tobery made 2nd team Frederick County, and Braindan Wastler made 2nd team for York / Adams County. Jessi Lindsay made 2nd team mid-penn colonial all stars.
