The Heartbreakers 18U Elite defeated Terror 18u 10-0 on Saturday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Victoria McClain induced a groundout from C. Thrasher to finish off the game. McClain led the Heartbreakers to victory on the rubber. She allowed two hits and zero runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking one.

K. Laing took the loss for Terror 18u. She went three innings, allowing five runs on eight hits, striking out one and walking zero.

T Harbaugh started the game for Terror 18u. She lasted one inning, allowing four hits and five runs. Firestone started the game for the Heartbreakers. She went one-third of an inning, allowing zero runs on zero hits and walking zero. The Heartbreakers racked up 12 hits. Paige Wilhelm, Ryleigh Bolyard, Anabelle Stone, and Lindsey Windsor all managed multiple hits for the Heartbreakers. Windsor, Stone, Bolyard, and Wilhelm each collected two hits to lead the Heartbreakers. The Heartbreakers didn’t commit a single error in the field.
